It all starts with the beachside setting as the waves gently roll onto the sand only 20 feet from the terrace of the restaurant. The view and feel of nature is enhanced by the modern architectural creation of the building itself. The architect, Myron Goldfinger created a structure using the Anguillian sailboat as inspiration. You will see in looking at the roof, the sails of four racing boats sailing the sea at high speed. The building design allows for maximum light and shadows, varying throughout the day, dancing before you in the dining room as you sit at your table. Best of all, the kitchen is a living work of art behind glass walls with the Chef and his team in full action. The attention to detail is exemplified by the interior design of June Goldfinger. The silverware, glassware, furniture and all serving pieces were all designed especially for Altamer.
