The river has shallow areas which would suit children as well as basins for the adults. Down the road less than 5 minutes away stands the Old Sugar Mill, used by the slaves long ago. On entering the Guest House area visitors will view this building just next the road. The Old Mill, about a 5 minute drive away, is located around the junction of the main road and RIver Estate (Guest House Street). This building offers many cultural showcases. There are several beaches found in the neighboring areas and villages. MIddleham Falls, the tallest waterfall on the island, can be accessed by a short drive from the Guest House, before guests proceed on the 45 minute adventurous hike to the waterfall itself. The Capital Town itself, Roseau, is less than a 20 minute drive away and offers many cultural and non cultural activities to island visitors.
