In order to help you leave the cares of the world behind, the cottages do not have individual telephones or television, but phone and fax and TV are available at the clubhouse.

Come stay with us and make one of our cottages your home while on Staniel Cay. Sip an island cocktail and drink in the gorgeous Bahamian sunsets from the comfort of your private porch. You may never want to leave…

The Yacht Club has been an established part of the Staniel Cay community since 1956. Today there are 6 charming cottages, an 18-slip marina, a 3,000-ft. airstrip and a clubhouse with a wonderful restaurant and casual island bar.

The island of Staniel Cay is nestled in the magnificent chain of Bahamian Islands called The Exuma Cays (a.k.a. “Exumas”). Staniel Cay lies approximately 75 miles south of Nassau and 250 miles of southeast of Florida. The island itself is less than 2 square miles in area. A small Bahamian village lies on the western shore, just a short walk south from the Staniel Cay Yacht Club.
AMENITIES: Air conditioning (all cottages); daily maid service; coffeemakers and refrigerators (all cottages); dining room; friendly yacht club bar; gift shop (located in the Yacht Club); boats, golf carts, and snorkeling gear for rent; full service marina; 3030' airstrip; purified water throughout.

ACTIVITIES: The island's main attractions are its friendly people, beautiful clear waters and secluded beaches. With a population of less than 80 full-time residents, Staniel Cay is the ideal place to escape from the cares of the world.

Although small, the island has most of what anyone could need: a church, post office, library, three small retail shops and a marine supply store. In addition, the presence of the airstrip allows for quick and easy access to Nassau and Florida.

The many secluded beaches, coves and isles surrounding Staniel Cay are a perfect setting for numerous activities.

We can provide you with everything you'll need to enjoy a day filled with relaxation or excitement (or maybe a little of both!).

Snorkeling - Fishing - Kayaking - Boating - Golf Cart

DINING/RESTARUANTS: Dining
Enjoy a simply delicious mix of Bahamian and Continental cuisine at the clubhouse restaurant.

With fresh produce, vegetables and meats flown in from the States, the Yacht Club's restaurant boasts much more than just fabulous seafood. From conch fritters and homemade island bread to melt-in your mouth desserts like our famous Staniel Cay Lime Pie, your dining experience will be a highlight of your visit with us.

As with all of SCYC, the dress is always casual, but feel free to get fancy if that's what you want. Just be comfortable – you're on vacation!

Breakfast is served in the dining room from 8am until 10:00am. Start your day right with a scrumptious breakfast of traditional favorites and island specialties.

Lunch is served in the dining room from 11:30am until 3:00pm. It's hard to beat our cracked conch or grouper sandwich, unless, of course, you are enjoying one of our boxed picnic lunches on one of the nearby, secluded islands!

For lighter fare or between meals snacks, appetizers are available at the bar from 11:30am until 3:00pm and from 5:30pm until approximately 9:30pm.

We still serve dinner as we have since our inception in 1956 in traditional Bahamian style. With the ringing of the dinner bell at 7:00pm, all of our guests are shown to their tables. In order for us to put dedication and care into preparing your meals, please place your order with the bar staff by 5:30pm.

One of the most frequent comments we hear from our guests is that our food is truly superb. Well it should be. You deserve it. We strive to make each and every meal memorable for you.
Type: All Inclusive Beach Location: Beach Front (Directly on Beach/Water Front)
