Great Exuma Island is located in the heart of The Bahamas. Georgetown airport (GGT) is easily accessible with daily flights to and from Miami and Nassau. Charter flights can also be arranged to and from virtually all other islands and the mainland. Ground transportation can be arranged at the airport or in Georgetown through numerous local taxis. AMENITIES: Other amenities include air conditioning, washer and dryer, satellite TV, VCR, Stereo with CD player, ceiling fans, kingsize beds. The lower level of the house has a covered porch while the upper level has a large wraparound deck with a screened-in portion. During your stay, a housekeeper will visit once a week to ensure your utmost comfort and all your needs are met. ACTIVITIES: All the basic necessities can be located in Georgetown, just a mile from Seabean Cottage, including groceries (Exuma Market and Shoprite Market), post office, marinas with boat rental facilities (Minns Watersports) as well as car rental outlets. Scuba diving excursions, (Exuma Scuba Adventures) sea kayak eco-tours, (Starfish Eco-Tours) and deep sea fishing charters and inter-island charters (Fish Rowe Charters) are all available and easily contacted while in Georgetown. Exuma is also one of the truly world class bonefishing destinations, local guides are easily hired for excursions.
