Sheraton Grand Resort - Bahamas (Nassau)

Our recent $10 million renovation has turned every guest room
into a little piece of Paradise. And every accommodation has a guaranteed ocean-view and private balcony.

Each room includes a fully-stocked mini-bar, hairdryer, iron and full-size ironing board, in-room safe, coffeemaker, and direct-dial phone with voicemail and data port.

They extend more than 500 miles southeast of Florida. The tradewinds keep the islands cool in the summer, and the Gulf of Mexico keeps them warm in winter. Average temperatures range from 70° Fahrenheit in January to 82° in August.

The islands use the Eastern time zone. American dollars are accepted everywhere on the islands at par with Bahamian dollars. Other currencies can be exchanged easily at any bank.

Nassau is the capital of The Bahamas and is located on New Providence Island. Paradise Island lies along the northeast coast of New Providence, across the bridge from Nassau.
AMENITIES: GAMING
Fancy a game of chance? You're just a five-minute walk and right next door to the world-famous Atlantis Casino, where the action never stops.

NIGHTCLUBS
Within close proximity to the Sheraton Grand, you can find a wide and wild variety of clubs. Come on, a memorable night awaits.

Whether you prefer your island entertainment from The Bahamas, or from the faraway island of Manhattan, follow the music and feel the beat. And if you want to dance the dance of native Bahamians, we're dying to teach you how.
ACTIVITIES: The resort maintains a fleet of bicycles for guest use, so you can pedal yourself all over Paradise.
Our facility is lighted so you can play tennis day or night.

There are several courses within a short distance of
the resort.

World class deep-sea fishing is so close, you can practically hear the fish begging you to start something. Go ahead. Show them your best technique. Be ready for a fight.

An incredibly colorful world of exotic life is waiting for you to explore. Strap on a mask and meet it face to face.

See the coral reef up close and personal. Bahama Divers, one of the world's most respected water sports companies, is on-site for scuba clinics, rentals and all kinds of underwater excursions.

If you love to shop, then this really is Paradise. Duty-free bargains include French perfumes, English crystal and woolens, liquor, jewelry, watches, cameras, leather goods and china. And it's all within walking distance.

Kids 4 to 12 can have the time of their lives doing hands-on explorations of the world at Discovery Channel Camp™, located right next door at Atlantis.

Parasailing, sailing, and windsurfing are a few of the many ways you
can take advantage of the beautiful beach front.

Day-O! Get a traditional view of the islands from the deck of a banana boat.

If deep-sea fishing doesn't move fast enough for you, hop on a jet ski.

Your choice, fresh water or salt water. The fresh water pool is just a few feet from the beach.

Catch a few rays on a beach that was here when Columbus cruised by.
DINING/RESTARUANTS: If we had to list the things about the Sheraton Grand Resort that make us proudest, our international award-winning cuisine would be near the top. In fact, you could call it "Paradise" for the food alone.

In a fun, lively atmosphere, Julie's Ristorante Italiano serves the best Italian food in the tropics.

The Rotisserie offers casually elegant dining with ocean views.

Have lunch and a favorite beverage poolside with live entertainment at The Sundeck Bar and Grille.

Whether you prefer a sumptuous breakfast buffet or ordering from a full a la carte menu, there's no better place to begin a perfect day in Paradise than The Verandah.
