Discovery Point Club *** - Cayman Islands (Grand Cayman)

The Discovery Point Club is a beach front resort offering beautiful accommodations in a peaceful tropical setting, enhanced by the warmth of true Caymanian hospitality - to provide the most memorable of vacation pleasures. All of the oceanfront units have a large spacious living area, cable TV, VCR, ceiling fans, telephones, fully equipped kitchens and private bathrooms. There are laundry facilities on site and daily maid service (except Sundays).

What to expect: The small, 45-unit resort appeals to couples and families content to be well away from Seven Mile Beach's main resort strip and to have cooking facilities available.

Amenity highlights: The resort features a 60-by-18-foot pool and an eight-person spa tub. Frontage on Seven Mile Beach extends 150 yards, with thatched roofs and seagrape trees for shade. Sand extends 40 yards inland, providing lots of sunbathing space. Water sports rentals are available on the beach nearby, and one of the island's prime snorkeling spots, Cemetery Reef, is a five-minute beach walk away.

Insider tip: The ferry to Rum Point, which is a 35-minute trip across North Sound and site of a tranquil beach and lively weekend entertainment, leaves from a dock located 2.75 miles from the resort.
The resort offers 45 guest studios and suites in a pale-yellow, three-story building without elevators. Each has a balcony, patio, or screened beachfront porch. Ceiling fans and louvered panels offer an alternative to air conditioning. Televisions provide U.S. cable channels. Decor varies but features tile floors and tropical furnishings. (No housekeeping on Sundays.)

On spectacular Seven Mile Beach, The Discovery Point Club provides superior accommodations for the discerning traveler. Enjoy a Cayman island beach experience like never before with a private condo.

Each suite has two bedrooms and two complete baths and full kitchen facilities. Each has been uniquely decorated by its owner to enhance this tropical getaway in the Caribbean.

You can also rent a one-bedroom oceanfront suite or a garden-view "hotel-type" bedroom without kitchen facilities and still enjoy all the amenities of Discovery Point. All accommodations have screened-in patios or balconies and satellite cable TV.
Step outside for a leisurely stroll down Seven Mile Beach, or snorkel the beautiful reefs just off our shores. Our fresh-water pool and heated whirlpool spa are located on the beach where you can delight in our spectacular sunsets.
