Wrapped around a virtual indoor garden in the bricked open courtyard, the upper level plays host to three exquisitely furnished bedrooms with accompanying bathrooms, a gorgeous livingroom with a view of the sea and mountains only experienced in dreams, a cozy comfortable TV/Library and Games Room and a huge well equipped kitchen from where exotic dishes are created by the Villa Chef to suit your every fancy. Dining is an unforgettable occasion on the wrap-around verandah of this gorgeous property, as the night-time city lights dance below a moonlit sky. A few steps to the lower level, descend to two elegantly furnished bedrooms which share an awesome italian marble and 24k gold bathroom suite. Classic french doors open these rooms out unto the massive pool deck and surrounding garden complete with lookout gazebo. Mexican terra-cotta and inlay detailing, bring elegance to the magnificent 40 x 60 ft swimming pool with wrap-around submerged seating for easy entertaining. The comfortable 8 seater jacuzzi rises majestically from the pool, as its waters cascade gently over the sides to mingle with the cool waters below. Rising some 30 ft into the air, the palatial columns of the vine covered trellis, stand guard over this magnificent spectacle.
AMENITIES: The Staff                      
Villa Manana comes fully staffed with chef Sandra and her attendant staff of four which include George, the overseer, a laundress, assistant chef and house attendant. Some staff remains on property and are housed in the 2 bedroom self-contained quarters located nearby. An intercom system connects the main house to staff quarters for convenience. The gorgeous manicured lawns and magnificent pool facilities are maintained by George, the Villas Jack-Of-All-Trades. George takes care of any minor emergency repairs and will be only too willing to show you the town in the evening. He'll challenge you to a game of football or dominoes and take you on a tour of the grounds where you'll learn about the various fruit trees and flowering plants that adorn Manana. He lives on property and provides additional security apart from the evening security personnel from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. if requested. Baby-sitting is "no problem" and you can dance the night away while your little ones play games till they are good and tired enough to be tucked into bed. Sandra would be more than happy to accompany you while shopping. She'll guide you to assure that you get the very best prices and value for your money. Our house staff can make appointments to have the following services provided "in house" at your request, for which you would be responsible to pay the provider of such services directly:

(b) Massage 
(c) Hair beading 
(d) Facial 

Manana's five bedrooms display the artistry of Jamaican craftmen in the intricasy of the hand-carved mahogany beds and tables which feature lavishly in each room. The upper level bedrooms consist of two with two double beds in each, and a massive 20 x 30 octagonal master suite with king sized bed, complete with an elegant sitting area furnished with exquisite hand-weaved wicker pieces (crafted by the talented blind). Crisp cotton adorn each bed and bright tropical- print comforters and matching window dressings bring the exotic island surroundings into each room. Walls are embellished with valuable works of famous Jamaican artists and air-conditioning is available in each room for those hot days. The lower level features a second octagonal master suite with sitting area and a smaller bedroom, both of which open onto the pool deck and gardens.

Living Room
The living room features wide open-out french doors which reveal the most breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea , the town of Ocho Rios and its surrounding mountains. Furnishings are classic. As always, the carved mahogany pieces and vibrant artwork add warmth to sponged walls and large overstuffed seating. Hand-forged wrought iron and marble complete this comfortable and elegant room.

Den
The TV Room/Library, with its cozy surroundings, provide the convenience of a TV and VCR, and a wide range of interesting books and magazines for everyone. A CD/stereo component set provide music and a wide variety of indoor games await the fun loving guest. Football, croquet, and pool floats comprise some of the great outdoor fun available.

Patio / Dinning
Dining is a special occasion on the patio with its panoramic view of the sea. A wrought iron ten-seater dining table, as well as additional seating for non-resident guests, make for unforgettable memories. A mixture of bright mexican and local hand-painted dinnerware and matching flatware attend each and every sitting. Meals prepared in the spacious, well equipped Villa kitchen, are served via the vine-covered walkway which overlooks the west lawn where high tea is served at your request, under the amazing Bombax Tree which explodes into bloom only once per year. If you're fortunate to be here when it happens, video taping this event is a must. Parties have been gathered throughout the city wherever this extremely rare tree exists to witness this event.
