Moon San Villa - Jamaica (Port Antonio)

It has only four bedrooms and four baths, but this villa has retained all the atmosphere and elegance of a private residence. All four bedrooms are decorated in Caribbean style and color, and the master bedroom has been described as "sexy." The artwork and carvings throughout the villa are a collection like none other on the island. In this three story villa there are two dining rooms, two decks and living room/TV room with a library of over fifty new released movies and cable TV in every room.

The villa is just one hundred feet from the ocean, and has two decks overlooking the water. Giant hundred foot trees with Tarzan like vines and philodendron foliage the size of umbrellas cascade over each deck. Just three hundred feet from Moon San Villa is the entrance to the world famous Blue Lagoon. The Lagoon is both fresh and salt water, and water temperatures are both cold and warm, which makes swimming a whole new experience.

To the left of the villa and within walking distance, is San San Beach. This is a member only beach, and on some days you might be the only couple on this quarter mile cove. There are also four more beaches within two miles of the villa.

Moon San Villa serves breakfast and dinner in one of two dining rooms or on either deck. Ask about the guided snorkel tour with a delicious fruit breakfast served on San San beach. Dinner entrees range from chicken Francis to jerk chicken, and lobster to crawfish soup.

AMENITIES: The staff at Moon San includes chef, housekeeper and bartender. Moon San's policy is "ask and you shall receive." Many of the special services offered are private photography tours, in room massage, beach and mountain horseback riding, private waterfall tours and of course PEACE AND QUIET!
ACTIVITIES: Climb aboard a twenty foot river raft for a 2 ½ hour cruise down this beautiful slow moving river. Your Captain will navigate the course; so bring your camera. The river flows through hundreds of acres of banana trees with the Blue Mountains in the background.

These falls are one of the secrets of Port Antonio. Just thirty-five minutes from Moon San Villa.

Reach Falls is unknown to most toursts and on some days you may be the only visitor.

Reach Falls has been the production site for Playboy Magazine and parts of the movie "Coctail" were filmed here.

Ask a Guide to show you the secret coves upriver. Bring your swim suit and explore! P. S. Try the crawfish soup at the entrance to the falls.

ON the way home, stop at Boston Beach for Jerk Chicken, Pork, or Lobster. Hot! Hot! Hot!

Just three hundred feet from Moon San Villa is the entrance to the world famous Blue Lagoon. The Lagoon is both fresh and salt water, and water temperatures are both cold and warm, which makes swimming a whole new experience. Explore the lush gardens and find where the cold mineral water bubbles out of the ground to fill this beautiful (184 foot deep) lagoon. See the two cottages where Hemingway, Noel Coward and Ian Flemming came to write their novels and party into the night.

There is a very good restaurant overlooking the water. This area and the surrounding gardens are so beautiful that they have been declared a National Monument by the Jamaican government.
DINING/RESTARUANTS: When food is delivered to Moon San Villa, it is usually still moving. Our fish and lobster is delivered by local fishermen; and that means fresh!
Some say our chef cooks with magic. Maybe so, but it helps to have a boat deliver live, fresh seafood daily.

The Chef's specialties include spiral cut lobster, stuffed Red Snapper in pepper sauce, crawfish soup, and chicken twenty-three different ways..

Breakfast is any way you want it; eggs and bacon to French toast and ackee and saltfish (local dish). Fruit is always fresh. Tell the chef what you want and if it is in season, he will get it! Try the Rolls Royce of coffee, Blue Mountain Coffee--the most expensive in the World.

Many locals and tourists would like to eat at our fine restaurant due to it's superb reputation. We however, reserve the restaurant for our guests only!
Type: Hotel Beach Location: Beach Front (Directly on Beach/Water Front)
