There are three bedrooms, each with queen bed and private bath, and a cozy living room-kitchen. Additonal sleeping space for older children or teenagers is provided by bunkbeds in a separate area with its own bath. The spacious master suite features a breezy terrace where you can relax in your hammock and enjoy views of lush greenery and the turquoise Caribbean. There are many lovely terraces, patios, and garden areas for relaxing and socializing. Amenities include fully equipped kitchen--including microwave, blender, coffee maker and toaster oven, washer/dryer, and satellite TV. All rooms are cooled by ceiling fans and the ocean breeze. Drinking water, bed linens, and towels are provided. Maid service is provided three days a week or more by arrangement. The houses share a jewel-like swimming pool. Designed as a cenote (ceh-NO-tay)--a natural freshwater pool, it features two waterfalls and two shallow play pools. Music is everywhere… mariachi, marimba, reggae, rock, and the music of indigenous Americans as well. At Playacar you will find a magnificent Robert Von Hagge golf course, tennis courts, and the fascinating Xaman Ha Aviary. The ferry to Cozumel departs frequently from the nearby dock; the trip takes about 30 minutes. The area offers great opportunities for recreation and exploration, including the nearby Robert Von Hagge championship golf course in Playacar and the ancient ruins of Tulum, Coba and Chichen Itza. The island of Cozumel is just a 35-minute ferry ride from the nearby dock. Cancun is a 45-minute drive away. Xcaret and Xelha are eco-parks well worth your visit.
