Pelican Beach Hotel - Turks and Caicos (North Caicos)

The ultimate in secluded surroundings, excellent food and total relaxation.

We offer a small world, soft white sand beaches, crystal clear water, the palmettos rustling in the trade winds, where you get away and let your senses feel and cherish the precious things of nature...Doing nothing can be wonderful!

Our location, on North Caicos, in the Turks and Caicos Islands, assures almost perfect weather, even in the summer it rarely goes above 87° F (31° C) during the day and comfortable 72° F ( 22° C) at night.

North Caicos has no shopping centers or rush hour traffic, but we do have some interesting colonial ruins, solitude and lots of friendly people.

North Caicos is roughly 15 miles by 10 miles with five native settlements. The beach is unobstructed for 8 miles along the north coast with the barrier reef about 1/2 mile out.

Experienced guides can take you fishing for snapper, bonefish or barracuda. Beach picnics, boating excursions and fish cookouts on deserted cays are easily arranged with our native fishermen who love to cook.

Snorkel on the barrier reef, tour the island by taxi, plane or just walk the miles of uninterrupted white sand beach searching for the exotic tropical sea shell.

After sunset, we create our own night life, "jump-up" with a native rip-saw band or listen to the waves lap gently on the shore and sip cool tropical drinks under the star-filled sky. It's up to you!
Meals are served in the airy, plant-filled dining room. Native conch, lobster, grouper and snapper are plentiful. We serve fresh grown vegetables as well as homemade bread, jams and desserts.
