Bottle Creek Lodge - Turks and Caicos (North Caicos)

When you arrive at Bottle Creek Lodge in North Caicos, you seem to step back in time. You have left the crowds behind and have come to a place both peaceful and beautiful. Imagine mornings so quiet you hear surf breaking on the distant reef. Afternoons spent lazing by the dock, kayaking the coastline, or biking around the island. And nights that end with one last look at the countless stars glittering in the dark sky.

Bottle Creek Lodge offers guest cottages and a 2-bedroom bungalow to those looking for privacy and natural beauty.

An unforgettable place with spectacular ocean views, cooling sea breezes and sparkling turquoise waters.

Relax, play and explore a tropical island that has escaped rampant development and commercialization.

Turks and Caicos has an average temperature of 83°F (28°C). Days are warm, sunny, and often breezy. Nights are cool and refreshing. Rainfall is infrequent and quickly passes.

These islands are known throughout the world for their incredible reefs, clear turquoise waters, beautiful beaches, and friendly people. Turks and Caicos Islands, perhaps more than any other Caribbean island, has taken steps to preserve the natural resources and incredible beauty of their country. In 1992, the Government created a National Parks System and formally established 33 protected areas.

North Caicos, part of the island chain, is located 12 miles northeast of Providenciales. It is known as the "garden" island of the Turks and Caicos, with the soil and rainfall to support a richer vegetation. One of the best preserved plantation ruins, Wade's Green, can be found on this island. North Caicos even has its own flock of West Indies Flamingos, as well as hummingbirds, herons, osprey, and other birdlife.

North Caicos has 3 nature reserves, a sanctuary, and a national park encompassing the East Bay Islands. Bottle Creek, a free flowing ocean passageway between North Caicos and the Bay Islands, provides protected waters for boating and fishing. The Lodge sits on a gently sloping hillside on the edge of Bottle Creek. The East Bay Islands National Park is located directly across the water from the Lodge and can be reached by kayak or boat. The out islands across from the Lodge provide many private and beautiful spots for picnics and beachcombing. Schools of bonefish travel through Bottle Creek and can be caught with flyrod or spinning gear on the flats near East Bay Cay. Bring your favorite lures and try stealth fishing with a kayak. Bonefish up to 10 pounds have been caught only a few hundred yards from the Lodge!

If you are looking for a vacation where you can try different activities in a secluded, tropical island setting, we invite you to consider Bottle Creek Lodge.

AMENITIES: The comfortable Caribbean Style Cottages sit amongst the gardens overlooking the aquamarine waters of Bottle Creek. Your cozy cottage will welcome you home after a day of exploring. All have great views of Bottle Creek and are equipped with full kitchenettes, private baths and relaxing sitting areas.

The waterfront has a beach area and a dock leading into the clear waters of Bottle Creek. There is covered dock house with table and chairs so you can sit right at the waters edge yet get out of the mid-day sun if you want. Drop your kayak in the water and head out to explore the small cays dotting the waters.

Kayaks, Bicycles, Windsurfers and Snorkeling Gear are all provided as amenities included in the room rate.

The new owners as of April 2005 work hard to make your stay at Bottle Creek Lodge feel like you are at your home away from home. The lodge is very family friendly. Owners Jay and Sandy live on site with their 3 children. Captain Jay is your tour guide for any fishing or snorkeling trips. Sandy cooks all meals for the small restaurant on-site. Fresh fish and homemade bread are always on the menu.

ACTIVITIES: Experience the amazing nature North Caicos has to offer through a variety of Adventure trips or Fishing Trips.

Whether you choose to explore local caves, snorkel in wildlife-filled waters or observe Iguanas in their habitat, the unique, pristine beauty of the Turks and Caicos is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.

The fishing here is excellent, and we offer a variety of Fishing trips to suit every interest. Enjoy a day of Bone fishing in the flats of North Caicos or set out on a Blue Water Fishing charter to catch Dorado, Billfish or Wahoo.

Bonefishing and Reef fishing charters leave right from our dock at the lodge. Spend a couple hours relaxing on the beach and then head out for some fishing with Captain Jay (lodge owner and resident fishing guide).
