Anglers might wish to test their luck against snook, bonefish, barracuda, jacks or the elusive permit. Jungle creeks and rivers also offer many opportunities for backcountry anglers to wet a line in the lush rain forest! Canoeing jungle rivers for camping and day trips is a nice contrast to your beach sailing stay. Mayan guides take you up jungle rivers to camp with jaguars, tapir, monkeys and tropical birds!
