From your doorstep you can experience the two worlds of Belize …

The 2nd longest barrier reef in the world off shore is dotted with islands for world-class snorkeling, fishing and scuba diving.

Lush rain forests dotted with Mayan ruins are in the ‘backyard', 30 minutes to the Cockscomb Wildlife Sanctuary where 10,000 acres of rain forest offer walking trails swimming under a waterfall and home to the only Jaguar preserve in the world.

. . .and you will enjoy 14 miles of sandy beach from your own front door!

Belize is so many wonderful things – but it is not a commercialized tourist destination.

Local fishermen still paddle by in dugout canoes and dolphin come to play just offshore in front of our beach houses. Come relax, explore and enjoy yourself.

Belize, formerly British Honduras, is an independent British commonwealth country with a two-party Democratic government. Belizeans speak English and enjoy a good standard of living.

Belize was once the center of the Mayan civilization. They built elaborate cities and temples using advanced mathematics, engineering, astronomy and art. Day trips are available from our resort to some of the most fascinating Mayan ruins of Southern Belize.

There are more than 450 cayes (an island of sand or mangroves) off the coast. The majority of the cayes are uninhabited and virtually unexplored. The water surrounding them is teeming with marine life of all sizes. You can paddle leisurely out to False Caye in one of our canoes.

Facts about our Weather

Belize has a subtropical climate.

Average annual temperature 88 degrees
        December - May 84-88 degrees
        June - November 88-92 degrees

We receive an average of 53-80 inches annual rainfall
(compared to 180 inches in the Maya Mountains)

Although the majority of rainfall occurs June to December, Mother Nature has her way of providing us with plenty of sunny clear days.

Our Caribbean Sea is 80 degrees!
Well we are rather laid back here - so pack light. We hope you will love our open air restaurant, we prepare local foods. Stop at the bar for a cool Belikin beer. Sit on the beach or on the dock and relax --was that a sing ray you just saw? Forgot the sun block? Drop in the gift shop for the sun block, t-shirts, or a souvenier to take back home.
Try the snorkeling at one of the cayes. Head for Monkey River with Clive. Then take a day trip to the Jaguar Preserve. Rest on the beach. Then head for a day trip to Xuantunich for a Mayan Ruin visit. Or try on of our kayaks. Or rest on the beach with one of the books from Linda's library. Try that cool Belikin beer! Come for a visit!
Can do better than the Green Parrot restaurant. We are known for a great conch soup.
