Luba Hati Deluxe Resort - Belize (Belize City)

Situated on 400ft. of beach front in more than 12 acres of unspoilt nature is Luba Hati, the perfect place for any kind of retreat.
Four spacious beach casitas and eight resort rooms comfortably accommodate up to 30 persons. Our 30ft by 48ft covered terrace overlooks the Caribbean Sea on one side, tropical gardens on the other, and offers ample space for movement classes.

Franco's Restaurant will prepare delicious vegetarian and seafood meals featuring fresh local produce. Caribbean food with a hint of Mediterranean.

We are offering our resort to teachers or leaders to bring their own participants and have exclusive use of our unique environment in magical Belize.

Luba Hati is designed for those who treasure the peace and tranquility of the surrounding area. We have tried to preserve as much of the natural environment as possible. The buildings were designed around the existing trees and only the smaller shrubs were actually cleared. The result - a completely natural setting.

Luba Hati is the perfect spot for any kind of group retreat with instructor - yoga, Qigong, Tai Chi, shamanic work, dance workshops or any other like-minded activities. Our second floor covered 1400 sq feet veranda overlooking the Caribbean on one side and a luscious tropical garden on the other side, offers a dream-like ambiance to practice in.

We can arrange a variety of activities including SCUBA diving, snorkeling, river trips, fishing, visits to ancient Mayan cities and much more.
AMENITIES:
ACTIVITIES: Luba Hati can provide a full range of activities for those guests who wish to take advantage of the many scenic and natural wonders that surround the tranquillity of the resort. The Placencia area is ideally located for those wishing to explore the coral reefs and palm covered cayes ( pronounced "keys") off of the coast, the rainforest and nature preserves inland, or the mysterious and intriguing Mayan ruins that lie hidden in the jungle.

Snorkelers can swim the areas around the Laughing Bird Caye National Park, and French Louie Caye, a mangrove island that boasts a lovely coral reef and a resident chef who will serve up a home-cooked Belizean meal for the crowd.

Scuba divers have a variety of options including "Shark Hole". This is an actual hole in the sea floor inhabited by sharks -- primarily docile nurse sharks.

For those who enjoy tropical fauna and flora, tours of the Monkey River and the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary are available. There are hiking trails through lush, tropical rainforest filled with a multitude of birds, orchids and perhaps, a glimpse of the rare howler monkey.

For those wishing to see the area's Mayan Ruins, the area south of Placencia is where the sites of Lubaantun and Nim Li Punit are found. En route, the road passes through banana plantations, lush rainforest and the villages of the modern day Maya.

Fishing enthusiasts can arrange trips for spin-casting, fly-fishing and trolling, either inside or outside the reef. The waters around the Placencia area abound with fish of all types and very seldom disappoint.
