In addition to the above, the owners of MARIGOT ROUND live on island (your only close neighbors, barely visible 200' to the west) and will ensure that the house is in perfect condition and problem free. The owners also offer personalized service.....i.e., lost luggage? Nearest drugstore? Nearest place to buy film? Which tour to take? What to do with those strange vegetables and fruit? Island hopping? The owners will be more than happy to assist you in any way they can.
ACTIVITIES: There are now four restaurants in the bay as well as other activities like water sports, scuba diving, boutiques and a small village type supermarket. Large areas around the bay are still largely undeveloped. Nearby, semi-private, Flying Fish Cove offers good snorkeling.

WATER SPORTS: Near by, semi-private, FLYING FISH COVE for good snorkeling. Rentals of wind surfers, sunfishes, kayaks, day sailers, snorkel gear and various other water related equipment in the bay. Day charters on larger sailboats or power boats are also available. PADI certified dive and snorkel boats will pick you up and drop you off here in MARIGOT BAY.

FERRY SERVICE: There is a 24 hour a day ferry service which connects the customs dock on our side of the bay with the beach and restaurant on the north side.

GROCERIES: The Moorings in the bay operates a small grocery store in the large building across from the police/customs building. Better cuts of meat and a number of specialty items are available as well as some fresh vegetables. Fresh bread is usually available around l0:00 am. Liquor and beer are also available but a bit more pricey than in town or at Chico's mini market. Chico's has two locations at the top of the hill in Marigot village, just go past the entrance to JJ's restaurant and take your first left. Look for a beige building on the right, and on the West Coast Highway just north of the turn off for Marigot Bay. Very reasonable prices, but limited selection. There are several supermarkets located in town which will be discussed at a later time.

BEACHES AND POOLS: Beside the pool at MARIGOT ROUND there is a pool at Marigot Bay Beach Club. You can buy a drink or a meal and have use of the pool. There is a swimming beach on the sand spit across the bay.

The Shack is located behind the customs/police station. You can walk there. Very informal gathering spot for locals and yachties. Located on a dock situated above the water. Happy hour from 5 to 7, good food try the Conch fritters or steak night on Tuesday so give them a call.

Club Paradise Restaurant is located at the Marigot Bay Beach Club on the north side of the bay offering good French cuisine and live entertainment some evenings. Happy hour as well. Please call in advance to check on their activities.

Chateau My'Go is located near the customs/police station. Local and Indian cooking. Very reasonable prices.

JJ's Bar and Restaurant is located at the head of the harbor. Road access is from the village at the top of the hill. local food. JJ will pick you up and drop you off at MARIGOT ROUND. Friday night is "jump up" night in Marigot at JJ's.
