Glencastle Resort - St. Lucia (Castries)

The hotels' architecture has a historical French influence softened with peach painted walls and sparkling white and soft green trim, which enhance the homely and peaceful atmosphere.

Glencastle is a locally owned and managed small hotel, dedicated to friendly service and a home-away-from-home atmosphere.
It is truly Island hospitality at its very best.
lencastle Resort is located on the most northern portion of the Eastern Caribbean island of Saint Lucia.

It is approximately 30 minutes from the George Charles Airport (near the capital of Castries) and 1 hr. 30 mins. from Hewannorra International Airport, which is located on the most southern tip of the island.
It is in close proximity to the quaint fishing village of Gros Islet, home of the famous Friday Night Jump Up.

We are a short distance from the island's most popular white sandy beaches (to which our complimentary beach shuttle service runs twice daily), the islands largest shopping mall, grocery stores, Rodney Bay Marina, night clubs, and various water sports facilities.

The main pool (photo on home page), is convieniently located near the bar and restaurant; ideal for a refreshing dip or a poolside drink.
The rooftop pool (photo at left) has a uniform 4ft depth, ideal for children, a game of volleyball or doing laps.
The shady roof-top gazebo bar serves tropical drinks and snacks from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. and is a wonderful spot to watch the dramatic sunsets for which the Caribbean is famous.
