Comfort, Nature, and Adventure Our house is a stunning, open space that creates rooms from very few interior walls. The dining room is created from a huge bay window that looks out over the cove. On the same level as the dining room is the kitchen. It too, is open and has the same views across the dining area and out the bay windows Above the kitchen and behind the glass wall, lies the bedroom. The glass wall offers the perfect mix of openess and privacy. Beyond the bedroom lies the master bathroom, and in the foreground there is a sunken tub that looks out over the cove. The living room is just a couple of steps up from the kitchen area (countertoponce again in the foreground) and offers a great view out the french doors to the patio and the beach 12 feet beyond. The cabanas are each about 30 feet in diameter (about 700 sq.ft.) and each have a bed(s), a couch, a table and chairs and a GREAT view of the ocean. The cabanas are about 20 feet from the water and share a common shower and bathroom. They offer the perfect mix between the Robinson Crusoe adventure you want, and the comforts of home that you need. AMENITIES: Restaurants - Within walking distance from our property are 2 restaurants from which to choose. Casa Cenote Restaurant and the Tankah Inn Restaurant have a variety of international and local specialties that will surprise even the most discriminating gourmets (serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Yoga and Reiki Holiday - 3 day work shop - ( Includes: Reiki 1 and 2 Training and Attunement, Continental breakfast, lunch, free use of Kayaks) Clothing optional - Occasionally we receive a request for a "clothing optional" vacation. We are happy to report that we can provide this. Since we are at the end of a VERY private road, nudity goes quite unnoticed. Maid service Included in your stay is daily maid service and morning coffee. A cooler of beer and drinks and a nice fruit basket are provided on arrival so you don't have to stop at the store on your way. The villa (house) has a full kitchen for your use. Tours There are several tours available in the area: Tulum, Xel-ha, Coba, Chichen Itza, etc... (Some of the most interesting ruins in Mexico are so close!) We would be happy to put you in contact with reputable tour directors in the area. ACTIVITIES: Activities - Our home is the perfect spot for an active (or relaxing) vacation. There is a scuba dive shop within walking distance. Snorkel among the living coral reef in your own front yard and mingle with the many species of tropical fish that make their home there. Recreation - The jungle surrounding our property is a paradise for birdwatchers and nature lovers alike. You can hike to the point of the cove and walk for miles without encountering anyone. To cool off you might want to try snorkeling in the "Manatee Cenote" that is practically in our backyard. Swim a mile back into the jungle in this natural channel of clean fresh spring water.
