Peter Island Resort **** - British Virgin Islands (Road Town)

Named one of the "Best Places to Stay in the World" by Conde Nast Traveler, Peter Island Resort has only 52 guest accommodations and 2 villas on its vast 1800 acre private island.
Thirty two Ocean View Rooms peer into landscaped gardens soaked in hues of red, yellow and pink, and the freshwater pool which nearly slides into the well-traveled waterways of Sir Francis Drake Channel. Each lower level room features a sun parlor and private terrace. Upper rooms survey the yacht harbour in Sprat Bay from a gracious front porch and the yachting lanes of Drake Channel from a private verandah above tropical gardens. Cathedral ceilings with thick, exposed beams offer an intimate Caribbean cottage ambiance.

Twenty Beachfront Junior Suites overlook the curve of Deadman's crescent beach from a plateau carved into a sea-side bluff. The spacious suites offer a private terrace or verandah, manicured lawn, and palm-tied hammocks swinging just steps from the water's edge.

Two private Villas are perched on hillsides above the yacht-filled harbour and Deadman's Bay. Each offers spacious bedrooms, baths, a living room, kitchen and large, private sun deck to enjoy the views.
