This is an ideal place for people who do not wish to be bothered with televisions and telephones. The KonTiki restaurant serves excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner and is open 8 am - 10 pm daily. And if you like to be in touch with nature and have complete serenity - this is the place. We are 10 minutes away from Flamingo airport and the main town called Kralendijk on a quiet and beautiful nature reserve area on the south-east side of Bonaire. There is no accommodation closer then us to the windsurfing spot Sorobon where you will find the windsurf centers Jibe City (www.jibecity.com) and Bonaire Windsurf Place (www.bonairewindsurfplace.com), less than a mile away from KonTiki. Opposite KonTiki there is a quiet and sandy beach with shallow water with chaise lounges and palm tree roofs. Not particularly a swimming beach but it offers breezy sunning and spectacular views sitting in comfortable Adirondack chairs.
