Club Med Turkoise - Turks and Caicos ()

All Inclusive: The majority of amenities and activities at this resort are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for meals, drinks, activities, gratuities, or use of both land and water-sports equipment.

Blessed with a location atop a beach that can only be called spectacular, it seemed unnatural to tuck the social centers of the village away. Instead, Club Med placed them front and center, with panoramic views of the talcum-soft sands and the Caribbean Sea beyond.

From these vantage points, guests can hear the sounds of live music mix with the crashing of the waves. They can smell the scents of gourmet cuisine blending together with the salty air of the sea. And they can feel the simple pleasure of sand beneath their bare feet no matter where they choose to tread.

It's a combination that dazzles the mind, rejuvenates the spirit and inspires guests to celebrate life as they never have before. At a village so influenced by the sea, it's no wonder that a memorable trip is as certain as the tide.

The Main Restaurant serves generous breakfast, lunch, and theme-dinner buffets daily. The open-air Main Bar features live music three times weekly and dancing nightly. A variety of massages (surcharge) are offered in air-conditioned rooms and in open-air beach cabanas. Four computers adjacent to the lobby provide high-speed Internet access (surcharge).

What to expect: This sprawling resort provides a casual, highly social ambience for active singles and couples. (Guests must be at least 18 years old.) The emphasis is on sports and games, and the youthful, energetic, black-clad staff encourages good times and conviviality.

Amenity highlights: The resort faces a half-mile stretch of a seven-mile beach, where powdery white sands meet crystalline waters. Widely separated wooden sunshades and lounge chairs supply privacy. Snorkeling gear, kayaks, and Hobie Cat sailboats are provided as part of the All Inclusive plan. For freshwater swimming around the clock, the resort offers a 100-foot-long irregularly shaped pool bordered by teak lounges and wicker daybeds draped in muslin. Disco dance music keeps the Main Bar hopping until after midnight.
Renovated in December 2005, this resort offers 298 guestrooms in six brightly colored, two- and three-story buildings (no elevators). Amenities include CD players with nature-sounds CDs, TVs offering North American cable channels, and compact refrigerators with bottled water. Bathrooms have stall showers, but no tubs. Renovated in 2005, the rooms are outfitted with tile floors, walnut- and mahogany-colored furniture, white and bright-orange walls, and brightly colored fabrics. Windows open for fresh air, but there are no balconies or patios.
The resort is arrayed along a half-mile section of a seven-mile beach, where powdery white sands meet aquamarine waters. Snorkeling gear, windsurfers, and Hobie Cat sailboats are provided, and snorkeling trips to a reef are offered twice daily. A 100-foot-long irregularly shaped pool paired with a volleyball pool is open 24 hours a day.

Additional facilities include a circus trampoline and trapeze, a baseball/soccer field, a full basketball court, and eight lighted tennis courts.

Provo Golf Club, an 18-hole championship layout, is one-quarter mile east. An 18-hole miniature-golf course is adjacent to the golf club.
