Palm Island Resort in The Grenadines - The Grenadines (Palm Island)

What could be more memorable than tying the knot on a private island in the Caribbean? Indeed, Palm Island was named one of the region's ‘most romantic resorts' by the readers of Caribbean Travel and Life magazine. You can get married just steps from the turquoise ocean and then afterwards you can toast your future together against the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset.

Welcome to Palm Island
The ultimate - your own private island. This exclusive resort is set in pure paradise where tranquility reigns and an unforgettable experience of a lifetime is inevitable. This natural oasis has changed little since it was first discovered.

When you arrive, your state of mind is set back decades. A perfect antidote to stresses of everyday life. Here you reawaken the things that matter most. Fill your senses with serenity amidst lush tropical landscapes embraced by five dazzling white-sand beaches. Sumptuous gourmet dining served oceanfront by award-winning chefs in the most romantic setting of all the Grenadines.

All 40 intimate guest rooms are air-conditioned and feature island motifs, custom rattan furnishings and luxurious amenities. The vantage point from your private balcony or patio provides a sweeping panoramic view at every turn as far as the eye can see.

Situated in the island chain of St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Palm Island is located on it's own private 135-acre island hideaway at the end of the Windward Island group of the Eastern Caribbean. Palm Island is accessible via a ten-minute ride aboard the resort's launch from Union Island with daily flights from Union Island. Ask your Elite Island Resorts travel professional about complimentary roundtrip air to Union Island from Barbados, St. Lucia or Grenada for stays of 7-nights or longer.

Restaurants
Palm Island rates include breakfast, lunch, dinner and all soft drinks, liquor and wine by the glass. Wine and champagne are additional.

Weddings at Palm Island
Imagine being wed on a secluded, private Caribbean island. Palm Island is the perfect place for a romantic and unique wedding in paradise.

We have beautiful surroundings for the ceremony. Many of our wedding couples select our pristine beach overlooking the sea, while others prefer the ceremony be performed in the more secluded gardens. Everyone at Palm Island looks forward to hosting our wedding party guests, and it's a memorable and joyous occasion for all.

For more information about our wedding packages and the proper documentation needed to wed, please ask reservations.

At the Royal Palm Restaurant, every gastronomic sense will be satiated. A Caribbean evening out begins as the lull of the tide seems to ebb and flow with the evening's live entertainment.

Settle into the loung for a pre-dinner cocktail and reconnect with each other. As the gentle trade winds carry the scent of the evening's cuisine, you ‘ll want to find your seat to dine on our award-winning chef's preparations for the evening.

Grenadine's Restaurant features intimate gourmet dining in three different areas, ensuring guests' ultimate privacy and maximum dining space for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Yacht Club Restaurant and Bar, located beachside is smaller and livlier, with casual grill-type fare and its own bar.

Watersports
- Powerboats, sailboats and more...

On Palm Island, all meals and drinks (by the glass) are included in stays. The elegant ‘Royal Palm' restaurant sits right on the white sands, every meal accompanied by ocean views and sea breezes.

Days can begin with seasonal fruits and freshly-baked croissants, or maybe banana pancakes, ‘Eggs Benedict' or a made-to-order omelette.

The extensive lunch menu showcases anything from exotic salads and tasty pizzas to fresh pastas and local specialities such as Caribbean Jerk chicken. Or for a special occasion why not order a picnic lunch and enjoy it in romantic seclusion on one of our Atlantic beaches?

After dark, the mood becomes decidedly elegant. Most guests meet for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the intimate beachfront bar, perhaps trying a rum punch before moving through to the restaurant. Dining is by lamplight, the a la carte menu featuring a wide range of choices that fuse international tastes with fresh Caribbean ingredients. Home-made clam chowder, pan-seared fish or broiled medallions of pork, are just a few of the delights in store.

The Manager's cocktail party and weekly Caribbean buffets combine with the regular evening entertainment to create a uniquely sociable ambience.

Palm Island also has a more informal beachfront restaurant, the ‘Sunset Grill'. Open to visiting yachtsmen, it offers an extensive lunch and dinner menu, its tables either inside or right on the sands.
