<title>CaribbeanMag.com: Beachfront Villa - Bequia  - The Grenadines  (Bequia)</title>
<description>
Beachfront Villa (which is also known as Generation Gap) is currently the only house available - owned by Moonhole Company
and managed by the Johnstons. It is located just above one of Bequia's most beautiful beaches (about a 30 second hop, skip and jump away).

<title>Beachfront Villa - Bequia  - The Grenadines  (Bequia)</title>
<description>
The multi-level house consists of a large living/dining and bar area and spacious kitchen (which you'll probably only use
to get a cold drink).

There are three large bedrooms (two king size beds and one queen), each with its own patio and full bathroom.

Domestic staff is provided to cater to your every whim (cooking, cleaning, laundry, lamp lighting, child minding etc.). Also provided is fuel for the stove, refrigeration and lamps. Only the lights are electric - solar powered, so.... ladies forget that hair dryer and guys don't bring the electric shaver or golf clubs. The only thing you have to do is relax,
swim, snorkel and have fun.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by the aroma of freshly baked bread to accompany your complimentary light dinner and breakfast that will be served at your request. "Provisionwise" ask your cook to bring you fresh lobster, fish, conch, fruit and vegetables.

BEACHFRONT VILLA is located at Moonhole in Bequia. Moonhole peninsula is a privately owned nature preserve, which is quiet and exclusive.

Moonhole's unique architectural style is based on the concept of living in harmony with nature and taking full advantage of our Caribbean environment, as interpreted by my father Tom Johnston, the designer.

To achieve these goals, the Flintstonesque houses are built on sites overlooking the sea, maximising both views and breezes. Our primary building materials are local stone, exotic woods, cement, whalebone and treasures of dubious value recovered from the sea.

Once construction begins, the houses tend to evolve on their own. No plans are drawn. Rather the shape of the finished houses is governed by the contours of the land, immovable rocks and trees. Thus each house develops a personality of its own.

These "live in sculptures" have an understated rustic elegance. There is also a barbecue area on the Moonhole Beach for the enjoyment of our guests.
