<title>Lucy's Villa  - Grenada  ()</title>

Grenada is the most southerly of the Windward Islands; Its 133 sq miles offer the visitor secluded bays, palm-fringed white sandy beaches,a tropical rainforest,wildlife sanctuaries and the prettiest capital in the Caribbean, St Georges. Grenada is known as 'The Spice Island' as it's the Caribbean's largest producer of cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and mace and is the world's third largest producer of nutmeg. Surprisingly even with Grenada's beautiful climate and scenery its is still relatively undiscovered and untainted by tourism and commercialism found on many other Caribbean Islands. The people are very friendly and offer the warmest of welcomes to be found in the Caribbean. 
AMENITIES: Lucy's Villa (caters comfortably for up to 6 persons) it consists of a large living room which opens onto a verandah, a dining room, fully equipped kitchen, 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms(the Master bedroom is ensuite).Both bathrooms have a shower and toilet. The Villa has luxuriously tiled floors.
ACTIVITIES: There's are three shopping malls nearby, also banks, restaurants,bars and a new cinema. A visit to Casablanca a sportsbar is recommended, especially as it is only 10 mins walk from the Villa. It offers a wide range of food,' killer' cocktails, TV, darts, pool and snooker tables, in addition to live music until the early hours.

Fort Georges has great views of the city.

River Antoine, 15 minutes from St George's is the only working water driven Rum Distillery, in the Eastern Caribbean.The Rum is overproof so be careful.

Annandale Falls is a 50 ft cascade, 15 minutes north east of St George's ideal for picnics.Concord Falls and

Grande Anse is a famous 2-mile beach and tourist centre.

For divers there are giant turtles,eagle rays at the Bianca C shipwreck.Good reefs at Boss Reef and Flamingo Bay.

National nature reserves include Levera in the north east where the Caribbean meets the Atlantic and enjoy the white beach at Bathway.

Unmissable Grand Etang, a large lake in an extinct volcano crater in the Tropical rainforest has a bird sanctuary, and various hikes.

Dougaldston is a traditional Spice Estate growing nutmeg and cocoa with a living museum. Grenville, the second city, has a French colonial flavour and lively Saturday market. 

Affordable boat trips to Carriacou on the Osprey, and its the sister islands offers reefs and an active underwater volcano. 
A whale and dolphin watching excursion or even a fly or sail tour around the islanda nd visit Palm and Sandy Islands

Food, Drink, Nightlife 
Try a Roti which is a delicious curried filled Chapatti( at Nutmeg,Deynas or Fish and Chick).Fresh fish is excellent, especially lobster and curried lambi (conch). Try callaloo (spinach) soup and a wide selection of local style food at Patricks. Round off with nutmeg ice cream, fruit juices and Grenadian rum punch. 

Nightlife is mainly centered in the resorts at Grand Anse with limbo dancing and steel pans.The main night club is Fantazia 2001.

Shopping 
Market Square in St George's is good for affordable handicrafts - every mornings.  There are duty free shops along the Carenage and a daily Craft and Spice market at Grand Anse. Currency US$ and East Caribbean dollars.

Special events 
Carnival every August sees a week of parties in true Caribbean carnival,there is also a Carriacou Regatta.

Grenada Jazz Festival takes place every year in May to early June. 

Grenada Sailing Festival in late January and early February.
