Ocean View Villas - Bonaire ()

Ocean View Villas is located on the beautiful Caribbean island of Bonaire. Bonaire is the 'B' of the ABC islands known as the Dutch Antilles, approximately 50 miles (80 km) off the coast of Venezuela.

Lose yourself in our website and discover the paradise that awaits you on Bonaire. Ocean View Villas brings you the casual elegance you seek in your vacation destination.

- 3 apartments
- All private baths with hot and cold water
- Complimentary pick-up and send-off from the airport
- Apartments have fully equipped kitchens

Arid and pristine, the island of Bonaire is in the southern Caribbean, 50 miles north of Venezuela and well below the hurricane belt. Wild goats and donkeys roam the flat terrain making quick meals of any accessible greenery. Bonaire's spartan landscapes contrast sharply with its spectacular underwater world teeming with exotic creatures. Maintained through a rigorous program of conservation, the surrounding coral reefs have made Bonaire a favorite destination for scuba diving and snorkeling. The constant easterly blowing tradewinds cool Bonaire's sunny days and make it a windsurfing and sailing mecca.

Bonaire's 10,000 inhabitants are outnumbered by its flamingos. Unencumbered by such annoyances as traffic lights or the daily stress of more developed locales, Bonaireans are known as the friendliest people in the Caribbean. The native population is of predominantly African descent with a rich infusion of Dutch and Portuguese cultures. Everyone speaks English.

As your hosts, we pay personal attention to every detail. After traveling to exotic places for years, the two of us knew what we wanted in a vacation home, so we built it here in Bonaire. Architect Raul Rosas designed this award winning home to include our residence and rental apartments as well.

AMENITIES: Air-Conditioning, color cable TV, telephone, kitchen, room safe, radio/cassette/CD player, ceiling fans, hair dryers, maid and laundry service.
Each unit has private yard and nudity permitted in and around unit.

ACTIVITIES: After having morning coffee on your private patio, pack up your diving and snorkeling gear for a trip to nearby Pink Beach, or even closer, the wreck of the Hilma Hooker. Invigorated by your dive, stop by the seaside markets in town for a basket full of the freshest fruits and vegetables and fish. Have a nice lunch in your apartment and then take a siesta (everyone else does from 12 noon to 2 p.m.) Upon waking, drive or bicycle south to the salt ponds where Bonaire's flamingos nest, walk to Bachelors' Beach or visit one of the historic sites on the north end of the island. At the end of the day, you may want to sit in the courtyard and swap fish tales with the other guests or enjoy a sunset drink. Or you may do nothing. It's your vacation.
DINING/RESTARUANTS:
Type: Villa Beach Location: Off Beach (Tropical Setting)
