AMENITIES: All our rooms are spacious and decorated with island art. All rooms include a refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning, and satellite TV. Kitchenettes are also available. The lapside pool that faces the Caribbean sea invites all guests to relax and enjoy the sun and water.
ACTIVITIES: The world renounded El Yunque Caribbean National Rain Forest is a fantasic place for the ecotourist to hike and for the casual tourist to enjoy. El Yunque, named after the good Taino spirit Yukyu, gets over 100 billion gallons of annual rainfall and harbors over 240 tree species. The forest is plush with feathery ferns, ropelike vines and exotic flora, all thriving under the leafy canopy of trees. El Yunque is also a bird sanctuary, home of our rare Puerto Rican Parrot. The hiking trails are well-maintained and accessible, designed for foot travel only. Be sure to visit the magnificent cascading waterfalls before you return to La Paloma after an inspirational day at El Yunque.
