<description>
CHARM
On the doorstep of The Anchorage is Seven Mile Beach - a glorious stretch of powdery sand sloping into the shallow water of the West Bay. Venture beyond the beach and you'll find bustling shopping and markets.

LOCATION
The sun-kissed Cayman Islands can be found almost in the center of the Caribbean islands. Grand Cayman, the largest of the trio of small islands is 22 miles (35 km) long and 4 to 8 miles (6-13km) wide. The busy coastal fringe leads to an interior of luscious gardens, natural lakes and forests.

WORLD RENOWNED
The Caymans sit on the edge of the Cayman Trench, a massive trough that drops some 25,000 feet into the deepest part of the Caribbean Sea. Divers from all around the world call it "The Underwater Capital of the Caribbean". A dazzling array of coloured fish and corals is always on display.

NEIGHBOURS
The smaller, less developed islands of Little Cayman and Cayman Brac are within easy reach. Isolated for many decades, the islands provide peace, quiet and wilderness.

There are a number of car rental companies on Grand Cayman. Driving is on the left.

Minibuses run along the length of Seven Mile Beach right past The Anchorage.

Taxis operate throughout the island.
