Almost Paradise Cottages and Bar - Grenada ()

Come in and make yourself comfortable. Drop your bags and open the doors to the balcony. Fall into the hammock and feel the warm breeze. And when you're ready, throw on your bathing suit and head for the beach - it's only a five minute walk! Bring back a coconut when you return, we'll teach you how to open it. Then rinse off the sand and salt in your private outdoor shower and come up to the bar to meet the neighbours, have a drink, join us for a meal… Maybe Kate will even do her world famous lasagne, or Uwe will have caught some fish! If you prefer, cook up something in your cottage and "eat out" on your balcony. Finally, climb up into the loft and dream the night away… Our cottages sleep 2 to 4 people. Each has a large balcony, kitchenette, toilet, and private outdoor shower.
AMENITIES:
ACTIVITIES: Do you know Grenada as being a long, sandy beach called Grand Anse and a busy port town named St. George's, with its forts and churches, bustling market, and views from the tops of the hills in and around town? Try a different side of Grenada and head north, past spice plantations, rainforest, and over 800m high mountains, to Sauteurs, with its own history of the Carib Indians. Come to the heart of the Caribbean, look to the islands in the north, feel the peace as you watch a sailboat glide by. The fresh air will fill your lungs as the frigate bird hanging in the breeze shows you what freedom is…

You've had enough rest and relaxation and want to get physical? How about a hike through the rainforest to some falls for a fresh water swim? Or don your wet suit and go for a dive or do some snorkelling. You prefer being on instead of in the water? Try sailing or fishing. Or is that just a bit too much activity for your holiday? Then just walk down the beach and wander through town. Check out the fish market. Have a drink at a rum shop. For a change of pace, take an island tour to see the Caribbean's oldest rum distillery, a spice plantation, a nutmeg receiving station. Have a lunch of local food at one of the plantation houses nearby, or grab a roti or some fried fish at a local snack bar. Whatever you decide to do, enjoy!
