Coral Cove Resort - Jamaica ()

The resort is located on the southwestern coast of Jamaica, near one of the oldest fishing villages on the island, Little Bay. Coral Cove Resort Bed and Breakfast Inn is located in an area of Jamaica so beautiful and private that Reggae legend Bob Marley built his own hideaway just a few hundred yards up the coast.

Ideal for a Jamaica wedding or Caribbean Island honeymoon.

Coral Cove began as a love affair with the village of Little Bay, a place that holds everything that is magical about the island of Jamaica, on a small stretch of the south coast only 10 miles from Negril. A small fishing village with a few shops and bars and some nice places to stay. An area so beautiful and full of good vibes that reggae legend Bob Marley had his own retreat just a few hundred yards up the coast. Where the main mode of transportation along the single road that runs along the coast through the village is bare feet, shoe leather, bicycles, and donkeys. The perfect place for what was going to be our two room board house on property that has a low cliff front, a small cove and private beach with great snorkeling in the protected coral reef at waters edge.

With the near miss of Hurricane Mitch in October 1998 our plans for the two room board were modified. Four years later the two rooms turned into six, not including the staffed kitchen and library all with private entrances and veranda's. The single level turned into more as well, all capturing incredible views of the sea and mountain.

Coral Cove's New Addition

With the villa having been completed and the cove at our doorstep, we were fortunate enough in the fall of 2003 to become stewards of the adjoining 3 acres that completed the cove and included a peninsula that reaches into the sea dividing Coral Cove and Homers Cove, a safe harbor for the Jamaican fishing boats that bring in the catch of the day.

In a place where our guests found their home away from home and baby sea turtles a place to start their life long journeys, we made an effort to create the nirvana of all weddings with the creation of our open air "Turtle Beach" wedding pavilion in the fall of 2004 directly above the cove overlooking the tide that sweeps in to Turtle Beach. Complimenting the beach pavilion are four cottage type rooms and two honeymoon suites.

Knowing how excited we felt the first time laid eyes on the cove, it makes us happy to know that it is possible to share our little piece of paradise with those looking for a very special place to spend time with one another, family or close friends. An excellent choice for weddings, honeymoons and anniversaries. After your first visit you won't need a reason to return. It will come naturally.

AMENITIES: Included in the daily room rate are the generous breakfasts, lunch and appetizers during the day, as well as the romantic candlelight dinners. All refreshments including fresh juices, bottled water, sodas, premium beers, wine and liquors as well as fruit smoothies and other tropical drinks, all on a 24 hour basis. Use of Coral Cove bicycles, snorkeling gear and instruction, beach towels and all on-site amenities.
