Barcello Maya beach Resort, Much nicer than I was expecting for the money. The resort is large and the beds are HARD, but everyone was friendly and helpful. A few tips to the bartenders go a long way. I was suprized at how few people were there. We never had to wait for anything and the beaches were almost empty. The food at the buffet was good but not amazing (huge selection). The night light life was a bit limited, I heard others talking about how much they liked the broadway style shows, but they were not my favorite. For kicking back around the pool and beach activities, it was great. We rented some jet skis and had a blast in the waves (highly recomended). There were lots of free boats, boogie boards and snorkel gear to use as well. We are looking forward to bringing our kids next time.
