Our trip to the Occidental Grand Flamenco was sensational.

We decided to enjoy it to the fullest and registered for the Royal Club. It was well worth the xtra cost. We had a beautiful suite right on the ocean, with our own private pool, restaurant, and office with complimentary internet service.

The staff was incredible, polite, helpful, and always pleasant. We brought our 12 year old daughter along and she said she never felt so special. The food was wonderful, both in the club restaurant and in the specialty restaurants. The buffets carried such a variety that everyone could be pleased. The variety of pools provided us with a choice of activities so we were never bored, and when we did want quiet we would head to the Club private pool.
The park was immaculate, as well as the suite and nothing was left unattended. The beach was small but adequate, the water beautiful.

We also had the luxury of express check-in and out, so our arrival and departure were effortless. Our stay lasted a short week, and we never remember being so pampered in our lives. It was the most relaxing vacation we have even been on and we have traveled extensively.

We certainly plan to return next year. Our only complaints were that the golf carts seemed to always be threating to run us down, we were always looking over our shoulders. Although the water in the resort was filtered, when they watered the plants there was an offensive odor, so we assumed that water was not filtered.
