Worst Hotel I Have Stayed At

I have just returned from the worst vacation of my life at the El DOrado Royale. We rented 4 rooms. Only one did not have any maintenance problems. In one room the air conditioner did not work or the safe. Another had no light bulbs. It took repeated requests over several days to get these things fixed.
The hotel over booked and required one of our party to move to a hotel 30 miles away in the middle of our stay.
Repeated requests to speak to the manager were ignored. Must not care because they already had our money. Ill have to see if it is possible to back charge the hotel to get their attention.
The food is acceptable but usually comes to the table cold.
On the plus side the grounds our nice but the beach is not good for walking or swimming due to coral. The working staff are great.
I would avoid this hotel like the plague. I would not go back to this hotel until the entire management of the hotel is changed.
