My boyfriend and I stayed at the EDR from August 26 to September 2. We cannot wait to go back!!! Everything was just perfect and the people there are so nice and accomodationg! We stayed in an Ocean VIEW suite. You COULD see the ocean, but only through small openings. Still it was a nice room not that we were in there very much anyways. We stayed by the beach most of the time. Definitely wake up early to get a palapa they are worth it! The beach was really beautiful. We really didn't want to come home!!! The food was pretty good. We liked Chinese the best. Their sushi was delicious! Also the Italian was pretty good. The mexican was the worst. As most say it's not a place to go and party. We stayed to ourselves the WHOLE time!!! Which is what we wanted. We did the tour to Xel-Ha and Tulum but were a little disappointed that was only spent 2 hours at the water park. It was not enough time. You can choose to stay there the entire day, but we also wanted to see the ruins, which were nice. But if you're more in to snorkeling stay at the water park. Plus it's all inclusive there so you can eat and drink all you want!! I guess that's pretty much all. We loved it so much! It was a great break and so relaxing. I definitely recommend it for couples of all ages who are looking for some alone time. Go and have a great time!!! We also loved Pedro! He is at the bar on the beach by Jo Jo's. Tell him Becky and Josh say hi!!!!
