The resort is rated 5 stars but I had to drop it down 1 due to the poor meal reservation system and the sporadic room cleaning service.

We had been informed prior to our trip through emails to book early for meals but to waste between 3/4 to 1 hour waiting to reserve your table every couple of days was inconvenient. Also on several occasions when we ate in restaurants that were supposedly full there were several empty tables.

As for the room cleaning we had to phone the desk twice to have our room made up despite the fact that the 'Please make up room sign' was hung on our door as early as 7AM.

Aside from those two point we had a very enjoyable time. The white limestone sand was cool on the feet and the water was was very clear. The food is served in gourmet portions allowing you to try everything from appetizer through soup, salad, entre and dessert. The staff is courteous and appreciate a gratuity for good service.

After leaving the cold of Canada it was great to sit in the sun with the ocean breeze cooling you as you sampled the many beverages available. As I said in my title a week is not enough. A week gives you enough time to relax but once relaxed another week would be heaven. If they fix the minor problems I will give them their star back.
