Dates of stay were 12/27/03 thru 1/3/04. We went with two other couples (whom we met in Jamaica last year at the same time - long story!)and we had a great time. Vacation is what you make it and we definitely had a lot of fun. No problems. The only negative is having to make dinner reservations by 9am each day but we worked it out and were able to get into the places we wanted at the times we wanted. My husband and I celebrated our 1st year anniversary (we got married in Jamaica) and we celebrated our friend's birthday there. Everyone was very friendly and accomdating - all you have to do is show a little green and smiles/help come your way! Stay away from the time sharing pitches unless that's something you really want to hear about (sounds too good to be true in my opinion). No kids, nice and quiet, food was very good, nice relaxing atmosphere. Looking for peace and quiet - this is the place to go. Our room was oceanview and we were able to keep our patio door open at night and enjoy falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. We did almost book a casita but after seeing them, we were glad we didn't - way too quiet for us. We were there New Years Eve (our anniversary) and they did it up very extravagantly!! I enjoyed our stay and would go back. Oh, everytime I went to the bathroom someone was cleaning it (the public ones) - they sure keep their bathrooms clean!
