My wife and I visited this resort in May 2003 primarily because we got a great deal and had good recommendations. The resort is very pretty and quite large. It is a good walk from the end of the casitas to the swing bar. We enjoyed trying the various restaurants and had no trouble getting a good dinner time. We did have to check back a couple of times for cancellations but always managed to get what we wanted. We really enjoyed the Oriental and Mexican restaurants. The Italian was average and the Steak house below average. My wife got sick one night and I came home with stomach cramps. Be very careful of the water at the steak house as several people got sick after eating there. We met a lot of people and determined that over 50% were either on their honeymoon or getting married at the resort. We did observe one very nice wedding. We were not impressed with 'Sexy Fernando'. This guy couldn't carry his ego in a dump truck. Needless to say we did not enjoy the nightly entertainment other than the fiesta night. The only other downside was having to tip to get good drinks at some of the bars. We have not had this experience at other all inclusives and did not appreciate it at this one. Overall a very nice resort but too quiet for us.
