Do not stay at the Falcon cottages if you want luxury
Traveler Review By: Anonymous from North west of England
Date of Visit: May 2005
15 of us went to stay at the Falcon cottage. It was not what I expected and was very misleading my the photos in the the airtour brouchure.
The hotel is what you would expect to stay in in Spain or Greece, not the tropical island of Jamaica. The staff are friendly and the food is lovely but a little on the expensive side. £1.50 for bacon, and the same for sausages so if you want an english breakfast it will cost you about 7.00 in the end!.
There is no entertainment at all! The pool is very small. The rooms are nice and tidy but you have to pay for air conditioning. which should come as standard!
We went last minute and got the holiday for £469 for 3 weeks. if you pay any more than this I wouldnt bother. Its on a room only basis so eating in the resturant and drinking which is also pretty expensive, it would be worth staying in a luxury hotel with lots to do.
Overall it was a very basic hotel, not very close to the main hotels, not very child friendly. Good for someone on a budget not recommended for newlyweds or families.
