The Ultimate Getaway

I stayed in Jamaica, as a nanny of 5 children.
The Buccaneer is a long way from Montego Bay and it's tourist traps. It's not a place to go to party like animals and it's not for those who want to spend a lot of time IN the ocean.
The villa is beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. The breeze is always perfect. The view is spectacular and breathtaking.
You can get an all inclusive package or be adventurous and go into town and buy your own food. The staff, including housekeeping and a cook are the friendliest people in Treasure Beach. Always willing to try their hardest to accommodate your every need.
This is the perfect couple, family and adult group getaway spot. The only negatives I can think of are that it lacks a sunset view and althought the beach is sandy, there are quite a few rocks to pass in order to get out into the open ocean.
To make up for that, there is a beautiful shady area where the groundskeeper hangs hammocks and there is an adorable shack-like bar a few feet up the beach.
I was most impressed with the service and the staff. The cook, Susie, and her assistant Gloria, were so kind, caring and creative that everyday was a joy to speak with them. Garfield, the driver was always willing to take you wherever you wanted to go. Seabert, the groundskeeper is a kind older man who tries to fade into the scenery, but his work is always noted and welcomed. Rema will come to braid your hair and help out around the house. She also babysat for us so we could enjoy some adult fun in town.
I cannot express what an extreme pleasure it was to meet and talk with these people. It was truly the best experience of my life!
