Well just getting back from the Sunscape I have opinion, and it echos what a lot of other have said. Let me start off and say that, I could have fun in a padded room, and I enjoyed my self on this vacation. Also I have been to a 5 star resorts in mexico and my wife has been to two five star resorts
The negatives
Hotel was in need some updating and minor repairs.
Drinks were inconsistent, but they are in the US too.
Service was lacking
The positives
Staff was friendly
Food was 5 star quality
Nice beach
I think my bigger dissapointment was to Apple for overstating what this hotel was. Really it is a 3 maybe 3 and a half star hotel. Come to find out Apple just bought the property and changed it to a 4 star. So my grief is more with Apple. The resort is definitely not going to be a dream spot, I mean what all inclusive really is? But I have been to a five star and it is better. This trip cost about 1000 a peice, so really I wouldnt spend a dime more to go to this resort, and probably is more adequately priced at 800 per person. Dominican is definitely worth it and I would go back to Punta Cana, probably not the Sunscape though. It was a bad trip, some peoples issues on here on the normal ones that, I dont see how they are going to ruin your trip. If you pay 800-1000 for this trip its not to bad, and its more of a family place.
