We endured a week here mid-February. Our rooms were on the ground floor of Building 5 and one room was broken into and we were robbed! Security was non-existent - they blamed us for everything - we "left the door unlocked", "it must have been someone in your party" - "you can't prove you had anything stolen" - "how do we know there was even a break-in". They let people who didn't have their keys into rooms without even asking their names. Overall, this hotel is old and dingy and no way is it a 4-star. Food recycled and cold. Drinks were all made with over-sweetened juice. Rooms old and needing lots of repairs, and we were in the "new" building. We were glad to go home! We would NEVER return to this place. And the locals invade on the weekends and take over! Never Again! We will stay at an Iberostar anytime!
