this is a great resort once you get in, but they tend to overbook to fill up their neighboring and not so great sister resort, the Allegro Occidental (in which you share your food with the flies outside). They'll tell travel agents they have room, but when you arrive they'll boot you over to the Allegro. If you're lucky, you'll get a refund, but I met five honeymoon couples there who've had their vacation ruined because the Grand Occidental claimed it was the travel agents that overbooked and refused to offer compensation.
