I went to Cozumel with a group of 14 people. Some of the people in the group had been there before but for me and my hustand it was our first time. The grounds up keep was amazing and El Cozumeleno had the best beach on that side of the island!! With a dollar tip we NEVER had any problems getting any kind of drinks. Our maid was excellent! We hired a babysitter for 6 hrs one day so the adults could rent a jeep and go to the other side of the island and she was fabulous. She spoke english and did whatever our 7 year old wanted to do. Not to mention it is CHEAP!! It was only $5 an hour. I'm a very picky eater and the only time I got sick of the food was breakfast. They had the same thing every morning. Other than that it was something different for lunch and dinner everyday. I always found something I liked! The nice restaurant you had to make reservations for wasn't all that. I think I will stick to "Primas" in town or "Pepe's" for a nice dinner. We had a couple of people in our party that cut their foot (or hands) on the bottom of the big pool (new side). Other than that we had a great experience and we are already booking again for next year!!
