Great Vacation!!!

This was my first experience in both Mexico and in an all-inclusive resort and I have to say I'm hooked.
First of all the resort is a short 20 minute or less ride from the Cancun airport. When you arrive you are immediately greated by an extremely friendly staff who treat you to a glass of champagne while they take care of check-in.
The beach is very nice. There is some sea grass but they do a good job of raking away any grass that washes up in the surf. As you walk on the beach in a post travel haze more of the staff are there to help you with drinks, towels and suntan lotion. There is a perpetual smile that develops and stays with you as you reflect on your days at the Jersey shore and realize what a real beach looks and smells like.
We enjoyed all of our meals which were clearly prepared with an attention to presentation and taste. I was impressed with the food quality but a bit disappointed in the wine. You can purchase a better quality wine but it appears they do not stock much.
By the end of your vacation you will know many of the staff by name. If you're looking for a pleasant low key atmosphere AZUL Beach Hotel is a place I would highly recommend.
