I have stayed and/or dived at Captain Don's at least 12 times over the past 5 years. It is sad to see this once great dive resort being neglected and to see the attitude of the staff there gone from friendly to rude. The people who work there don't seem to give a damn about the divers (aka their customers). When I showed up to PURCHASE a dive package from the dive operations manager (named Max), he gave me the distinct impression that I was imposing on his time. There was no "good to see you again" or "welcome back to Captain Dons". It was "what do you want?" and "why are you bothering me?". The orientation class was 15 minutes late in starting and no one bothered to tell the guests (their paying customers) where it was to be held. The orientation given by Max was hardly understandable due to his poor English. All we could hear was his numbling about "be safe". It was very poorly done. In general - the operation simply does not give a damn about its guests (aka paying customers). The staff members' little kids are allowed to run around the bar at will. Not a professionally run resort.
