On our first trip to Roatan, my wife and I stayed at the West Bay area the first week and at Lost Paradise in the West End for the second week. The cabins are fantastic, lots of room, good fan, great air conditioner with a wonderful porch facing the water. The staff is extremely accomdating and helpful.

If you want to see an amazing amount of sea life, snorkel on their dock! Anemones, arrow crabs, barracuda, sea urchins, feather dusters (the largest we saw and we did 24 dives on the reef!) conch shells, cleaner shrimps, and LOTS of fish! Truly outstanding!

This is definitely a place to consider staying in the West End area. It's very quiet...but close to some great restaurants and bars (don't miss visiting the old hippies at Foster's!).
