Review: Le Bistro, unique concept
Le Bistro is a new restaurant and a new concept. Its located at Grand Anse nestled in a house against the hill behind the Marquis mall. Easy to get to, drive by the Marquis mall on your way towards Mount Cinnamon. Some 200yards past you will see a sign pointing you left onto a small road leading up the hill.

The place is run by Patrick and Irit, the concept is best compared with a private chef intimate dinner party, be it that it is not at your own house but his. That is the kind of feel and attention each customer gets.

You do need to make reservations to get in, they have a limited number of places but this allows them to provide top quality gourmet kitchen and adds to the intimacy and personalized approach. The chef, Patrick, is from Antibes France but has worked in different parts of the world, these influences show in the dishes he prepares: French, Arabic, Far Eastern, Mediterrean and Caribbean. Because they only work by reservations, the ingredients used in his meals are handpicked fresh and of top quality.

They are open for dinner every day exempt Sundays and Mondays, call him up for reservations and he will take your dining experience to a new level.

Because they have a limited number of covers, they don't make a lot of publicity, which makes Le Bistro and the entire experience all the more exclusive. It really feels as if you are having a special dinner in your own house with your private top chef. Nothing misses their attention, from "amuse bouche", starters, entrees over dessert and wines to perfectly match the entire experience.

We have been there and really felt as if he cooked to our personal wishes and prefference, a gourmet experience not to be missed. Be sure to call and try this out.
