Villa La Guacamaya is the best!

WOW, what a vacation. I felt like it was a home away from home. The people are so freindly and helpful. The snorkeling was so fantastic I felt like I was swimming around in a fish tank. I lost count at 18 different kinds of fish,the colors undescribable. The sting ray was playing in the sand, the long baracuda looking at me, the lobster was within my reach. I had to really stop and take it all in. I could not believe what I was experienceing. The snorkling was so amazing I could not wait to try and get certified to dive. What is so amazing is it is right out front of your hotel room! The bike riding through the jungle and into the town of Xcalak to get hot homemade tortillas from the locals on a sandy white road with amazing tropical plants, flowers, birds of beautiful colors, you had to take a double take and wish you had a bird book with you with all the different ones you would see. The local people are so friendly and helpful. I wish I was a fishing enthusiast with all the stories we heard. It was funny listening to these men talk about the best experience of their lives and how big and hard these fish fight. There is so much to do I found one week is just not enough. The myan ruins and fantastic warm fresh water holes were undescribable. If you want a vacation that you will never forget go to Villa La Guacamaya and have a blast!
