Datai Villa Paradise

We recently spent 10 days at Datai Villa Whitby Beach, North Caicos. We were looking for an isolated beach, quite, beautiful and pristine. Whitby and Datai were that and more. The home (not just a house but a HOME), was designed so that from the master suite the first and last thing you see is the white beach and aqua water. BEAUTIFUL! Datai is artistically but comfortably decorated. Complete with kitchen toys, a grill on the deck and original artwork. Taking your shower with rainwater was wonderful. Go down your own beach path to snorkel right in front of the villa. We spent a whole afternoon at Pumpkin Bluff without seeing anyone. Very seldom did you encounter any other footprints but your own. The owners are friendly, honest and very helpful. North Caicos is primitive but beautiful, get there before the world discovers it. Food and gas on the island is pricey, but then do what the natives do and fish or go snorkel yourselves a lobster. The sand is like white baby powder and the shells are plentiful. We will be going back, Datai is truly our paradise on earth.
