Nice Villa, Bad Management

When we arrived at Villa Mandaris we were pleasantly suprised and pleased with the villa. The pictures do not do it justice. However, we soon found out that looks can be decieving.
Pros - View is priceless
Cook/Cleaner - The Cook is also the cleaner. Her cooking is AMAZING. We recommend you call her if you are staying in Castries/Rodney Bay/Gros Islet area and have her drop off her famous fish or Chicken dishes. Her name is Gertrude + 1 758 4529017
Taxi - We relied heavily on a taxi since everything was far away. Peter is the best here is his info if you need a Taxi 758-722-4398
Cons -
TV - The TV was old and not working. Very dissapointing since we were looking forward to watching movies and relaxing in the evenings. We were promised a new tv, but it never came.
Air Conditioning - One of the rooms had a broken Air Conditioning unit, which meant in 90 degree weather it felt like an oven. We were promised it would be fixed, but again it never was.
Furniture - Old and dirty.
Management - Not trustworthy. We were continually promised that we would get a new TV and that the Air conditioning unit would be fixed. Never Happened. We were just continually lied to.
No Privacy - Management would come to our villa whenever they felt like it. No knocking. Just would walk in.
Pool- When we arrived the pool was dirty and we were told that in the morning a pool cleaner would be available. The next morning it was not cleaned and around 6pm we called managment and they finally sent a pool cleaner.
Car - You need a car to get anywhere. Even to the beach. The house is on a Hill and not centerally located.
