Great Expectations is one of St. John's most popular vacation rental villas with a 5 bedroom Main Villa and a 2 bedroom Guest House, 2 swimming pools, 2 hot tubs, and a private basketball/tennis court. Perfect for large families or 3-4 couples!

Located on a know about 100' above the Caribbean Sea, Great Expectations has an unusual 'double view' both to the east affording spectaular sunrise views as well as to the west for romatic sunsets. All 7 of the bedrooms are air-conditioned and have private bathrooms with double-vanity sinks and indoor/ourdoor showers. We charge only by the number of bedrooms used.

Great Expectations is one of only 2 private villas for rent on St. John with a private basketball and tennis court (with basketballs and tennis racquets). We have 2 swimming pools including a wading pool, perfect for children ort adults wishing to sunbath while staying cool! We have 2 hot tubs and lots of 'toys'!

Great Expectations has every amenity you could want on your vacation including high speed Internet access (WiFi) and cable TV with DVD players.

There are numerous restaurants in Cruz Bay, only a 5 minute drive (on paved roads) from the Villa ranging from inexpensive to gourmet. A real supermarket (Starfish) is open 7AM to 9PM every day for your grocery needs. Chef services are available from some terrific local cooks.

S C U B A D I V I N G:

There are 2 beaches withing walking distance of the Villa. To the east, Hart Bay offers a coral reef which come sright up to the shore with fabulous diving just offshore (the dive boats often come here for night dives). To the west is Chocolate Hole harbor with some of the best snorkeling on the island; there is a salt pond here which is kept open to the ocean (the only one on the island like that) attracting all sorts of turtles and larger fish to feed on the crustaceans growing-up in the salt pond.
