Surrounded by the clear, warm Caribbean Sea surrounding St. Croix, Hotel on the Cay offers 55 units, each with kitchenette, ceiling fans and balcony. With its buff-colored stucco, terra-cotta tiles, and archways, this hotel evokes Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic, but it's the most prominent building on a 3-acre island set in the middle of Christiansted's harbor. This property opened in 1965, and was renovated in 2002.
